About Alchemy
Transmutation
In the past most people thought Alchemy was fraudulent in claiming to transform metals. But we now know that these transformations occur in nature all the time. For instance radium breaks down to helium and lead as it emits radiation. All substances are very similar at the atomic level – there is only a slight atomic difference between lead and gold. Rearrange the atomic pattern and the form is changed. At the sub-atomic level all substance is identical. The sub-atomic level is what the old alchemists called the Quintessence; it is the Etheric level of the Astral Light, in fact it is prematter. And all elements and substances have their basis in this prematter.
Something like 6 trillion reactions take place in every cell of your physical body, every second. In one year, 98% of the atoms in your physical body will have been replaced by new ones. What holds it all together – the template of your physical vehicle – is the Etheric Body, which is also composed of prematter. Once an Alchemist has changed his or her own nature – becoming a conscious conduit for the Creative Power – s/he can affect the prematter behind any substance and so transmute it into whatever is desired. The power to do this is innate in all of us, but due to secrecy, the way to harness and focus that power was concealed. But the time for such secrecy is past. We can learn how to increase our receptivity to the Universal Light and how to direct its flow.
The entire method of the Royal Art of Alchemy is: first re-creation, then co-creation. First we transmute ourselves, and when this is accomplished, we may transform anything else.
Academics mistakenly divide Alchemy into what they call ‘spiritual alchemy’ and ‘practical alchemy’; by which they mean two separate and distinct disciplines. The academic term ‘practical alchemy’ means working with furnaces and laboratory equipment to produce new compounds which will medicinally overcome the human condition. This ‘scholarly viewpoint’ is based on dualistic philosophy: that matter and spirit are separate poles of existence. This is why the alchemical Sages call the academic, intellectual approach: ‘the false tincture’.
But the Ageless Wisdom (whose application is true Alchemy) knows that there is only ONE Radiant Energy, from, and by which, everything is made. Matter is simply frozen energy. Therefore, when we consciously become at one with the Radiant Energy (which is our ultimate nature), as a by-product of that union, we gain the power to transmute base metals into gold, and to change the chemical and atomic composition of substances. We are able to reform substance and remake it according to our perfected will. And these transformations are simply done to verify (to prove) that our interior states have indeed united with the Absolute. Then, Time becomes our servant, and death will have no more dominion over us.
